National Gallery, Prague – Zbraslav castle, Štursa pavilion

In the seventies the National Gallery presented the Collection of modern sculpture in Zbraslav castle. When I was asked to design in the castle garden the new Pavilion of Jan Štursa (the founder of czech modern sculpture), I suggested to utilise for this purpose the existing barn with the addition of two newly designed, glased round wings. The space between the park wall and the mentioned glased wings was suitable for exterior exhibition atrium.
