National technical library, Prague

The National technical library is located in the university district, that was built in the 20th century. The plan of the library was designed in the shape of two reversed „U“. The connection between them creates „tower“- the electronicaly functioning stack. Reading rooms are surrounding the atrium. The top level is lit through spheric skylights . The atrium of the administrative section is on one side closed by „ the vertical garden.“
